This is a wonderful feature that is included in the last several versions of Adobe Acrobat. It is a great time saver when you are doing a couple of functions to many files. For example, here is how you would add security to multiple files using batch processing:
- Select Document Processing from the Advanced menu.
- Select Batch Processing from the resulting menu.
- Click the New Sequence button.
- Enter a name for the sequence and click the OK button.
- Click the Select Commands button.
- Under Document, click Security.
- Click the Add button.
- Double-click Security.
- Click the arrow on the Security Method box and select a security option from the resulting menu.
- Select security options and click the OK button.
- Click the Close button.
- Click the OK button.
- Select options in the Run commands on section.
- Select options in the Select Output location section.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Run Sequence button.
- Click the Close button when you are finished.
