This is a wonderful feature that is included in the last several versions of Adobe Acrobat. It is a great time saver when you are doing a couple of functions to many files. For example, here is how you would add security to multiple files using batch processing:

    1. Select Document Processing from the Advanced menu.
    2. Select Batch Processing from the resulting menu.
    3. Click the New Sequence button.
    4. Enter a name for the sequence and click the OK button.
    5. Click the Select Commands button.
    6. Under Document, click Security.
    7. Click the Add button.
    8. Double-click Security.
    9. Click the arrow on the Security Method box and select a security option from the resulting menu.
    10. Select security options and click the OK button.
    11. Click the Close button.
    12. Click the OK button.
    13. Select options in the Run commands on section.
    14. Select options in the Select Output location section.
    15. Click the OK button.
    16. Click the Run Sequence button.
