Using Jump Lists in Windows 7

Jump lists are a list of recently items that you can access from the Taskbar button for a program.

  • To open a recently used file, right-click the program Taskbar button, and select the file name from the shortcut menu.
  • To open the program, right-click the program Taskbar button, and select program name from the shortcut menu.
  • To permanently display the program button on the Taskbar, right-click the Taskbar button, and select Pin this program to taskbar from the shortcut menu.
  • To close one open window in a program, right-click the Taskbar button, and select Close Window from the shortcut menu.
  • To close multiple open windows in a program, right-click the Taskbar button, and select Close all windows from the shortcut menu.
